Ding Dong

We were approached to design the interiors of two existing restaurants in Singapore that were moving into adjoining new premises – the ground floor of two traditional shophouses – in the heart of Chinatown. One is a south east Asian restaurant Ding Dong, that plays with ingredients such as kim chi and duck liver on banana bread that required a fun and eclectic approach to the design. Next door is the slightly more grown up and serious Argentine restaurant Bochinche (the word for gossip in Latin American Spanish) where beef is the speciality.
